I appreciate greatly the amazing volunteers leading with respect & human dignity. I am passionate about helping the Impacting Tomorrow community renew our relationship with God. I love taking time to pray with people, and engage in a little spiritual coaching. I get to be a resource to help our guests connect with partner and county agencies to access additional resources and help.”

He also loves to visit food stores, especially the produce department and the cereal aisle. John also enjoys cultivating friendships and collaborating with other local ministries.

Beth Rogers

Beth has served in a variety of industries, but the heart of the work that she has done across all has always been the same—Beth is a caretaker of people. From higher education to healthcare staffing to now the non-profit sector, Beth has been focused on developing processes and systems that ensure that the experience of the customer is top notch while also making sure that the needs of the company are met.

“At Impacting Tomorrow, we are committed to excellence in all that we do. From our store operations to how we run our warehouse, excellence is key to all that we do. But to me, some of the most important work that we do is in how we interact with our guests directly. Our goal is to make sure that their experience is an excellent one in every way—from the product selection to their interactions with our staff and volunteers. We are focused on more than just feeding and clothing our guests. We want to be a bright spot in their lives.”

In her spare time, Beth is an avid audio book and podcast listener. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and working on house projects as well.

Laura Baker

Throughout her career, Laura has been dedicated to working with others to build and strengthen communities, with a particular focus on fostering meaningful relationships with donors and giving back. Her journey began early when she volunteered with her mother at a local food pantry, where she gained firsthand experience in helping others and supporting those in need. This early exposure sparked her passion for community service.

As her career developed, Laura worked closely with donors at a museum, helping facilitate the donation of family heirlooms to the museum’s collection. This experience deepened her skills in donor relations and reinforced her commitment to preserving history and culture through community contributions.

With a career centered around connecting with people, Laura has always been driven by a desire to make a positive impact on the community and help others. Her dedication to giving back and creating opportunities for others to contribute is a testament to her ongoing passion for service and connection. “I look forward to being boots on the ground in the work Impacting Tomorrow does. Being able to work in the boutique, hearing our guest stories and the impacting being made are a few of the things I enjoy being a part of.”
