Ken Tracy and his wife originally founded Impacting Tomorrow in 2009 as an extension of their business philosophy, aligning their growth with a mission to impact lives meaningfully.
A visionary leader, Ken is known for identifying market opportunities, building dynamic teams, and driving exponential growth. With a background in leadership, strategy, and community engagement, he applies decades of business acumen to advance Impacting Tomorrow’s mission of empowering communities across the tri-state area. Ken’s career began with a passion for service and innovation, transitioning from church leadership to corporate America. In 2006, he launched TaleMed to address a gap in healthcare staffing. Under his leadership, the company achieved national recognition and later merged with Triage, forming a $1 billion enterprise.
Beyond his corporate success, Ken’s greatest fulfillment comes from serving the community. Impacting Tomorrow, which has served over 100,000 families, reflects his belief in the power of entrepreneurship to drive positive change. “I am driven by the opportunity to create lasting, positive change in people’s lives. Impacting Tomorrow allows me to channel my passion into building a stronger, more connected community. I love engaging directly with the community—whether collaborating with our team or serving others—because it brings our mission to life in meaningful ways.” In his free time, Ken enjoys spending time with family, attending sporting events, exercising, and playing basketball. His favorite book, Start with Why by Simon Sinek, inspires him to stay grounded in purpose and vision.

With a passion for innovation and a keen eye for detail, Libby has charted a remarkable journey in the world of business. As the co-founder and driving force behind TaleMed, Libby brings to the table a dynamic blend of visionary leadership, strategic planning, and impeccable organizational prowess. Her ability to anticipate the need for structure and identify opportunities within a workflow and mitigate risks has laid a solid foundation for sustainable growth.
“I am proud of the work we do at Impacting Tomorrow. We not only serve households with food, clothing, and family services but aim to build a strong and loving home for seniors, adults, and children in the greater Cincinnati area.”
Outside of her work with Impacting Tomorrow, Libby loves to spend time with her family, especially her two grandchildren.
Randy served as a Senior Executive and co-founder of TaleMed in 2006. TaleMed grew to be a major player in the Healthcare Staffing Industry. The company achieved national recognition and later merged with Triage, forming a $1 billion enterprise.
Prior to TaleMed, Randy was in Sales with a large International company specializing in industrial sales to manufactures using Magnetic and Hydraulic Clamping equipment to the injection molding sector. Randy also was National Manager for a large engineering and construction company in charge of identifying and setting up office space for internal recruiting.
Randy is proud of the work that he does with Impacting Tomorrow. “The impact that is made with the community has been forever life changing not only for me but for those who benefit from the various programs. Serving large number of families makes for a more connected community for the simple fact that everyone involved is doing this out of love for their community and the families they serve.”
When not at work, Randy enjoys travel, golf, and sports in general. He especially enjoys spending time with his lovely wife of 38 years and watching his two grandsons play and grow.
Through his various professional experiences, Steve has learned many valuable lessons that he applies to the work he does at Impacting Tomorrow daily. After serving four years in the United States Marine Corps, Steve realized the importance of teamwork and leadership. In his role as a high school basketball coach, he learned that you must find the best way to communicate your objectives to your team to get maximum results. And in his 30 years in the manufacturing setting, he learned the importance of details, deadlines and customer satisfaction as the key to any successful operation.
Steve enjoys working behind the scenes of the Impacting Tomorrow operation to make it a success. “I like to work behind the scenes to find the most efficient ways to manage the warehouse and procure food and clothing items for our guests. The relationships that we are able to build with our dedicated volunteers and partners are incredible. I enjoy working with friends and family serving the community. It is very fulfilling to be a part of an organization that offers assistance and encouragement to others.”
When not at work, Steve loves spending time with his wife of 40 years and making her laugh. He enjoys telling bad dad jokes, attending sporting events, concerts, cooking and traveling. Now that he has a grandson, he looks forward to teaching him everything he can.
John joined the Impacting Tomorrow Team in 2022. He was instrumental in helping several food pantry networks, local food stores, & churches merge their efforts with Impacting Tomorrow.
John brings to Impacting Tomorrow a lifetime of experience leading several local Church communities. In addition, John excelled in a retail career with Thriftway Foods, Winn-Dixie, Sams Club, & UDF spanning four decades. John started in the stores & quickly moved into multi-store supervision, merchandising, procurement, & senior level management. Working in both the marketplace & church has helped shape John’s work ethic & better defines his purpose & mission.
John is very passionate about Impacting Tomorrow providing guests with a weekly shopping experience. “Impacting Tomorrow provides space for many to minister the heart of Jesus to the community. I appreciate greatly the amazing volunteers leading with respect & human dignity. I am passionate about helping the Impacting Tomorrow community renew our relationship with God. I love taking time to pray with people, and engage in a little spiritual coaching. I get to be a resource to help our guests connect with partner and county agencies to access additional resources and help.”
When not serving alongside the Impacting Tomorrow team, you can find John spending time with family—his wife of 50 years and his kids and grandkids. He also loves to visit food stores, especially the produce department and the cereal aisle. John also enjoys cultivating friendships and collaborating with other local ministries.
Beth has served in a variety of industries, but the heart of the work that she has done across all has always been the same—Beth is a caretaker of people. From higher education to healthcare staffing to now the non-profit sector, Beth has been focused on developing processes and systems that ensure that the experience of the customer is top notch while also making sure that the needs of the company are met.
“At Impacting Tomorrow, we are committed to excellence in all that we do. From our store operations to how we run our warehouse, excellence is key to all that we do. But to me, some of the most important work that we do is in how we interact with our guests directly. Our goal is to make sure that their experience is an excellent one in every way—from the product selection to their interactions with our staff and volunteers. We are focused on more than just feeding and clothing our guests. We want to be a bright spot in their lives.”
In her spare time, Beth is an avid audio book and podcast listener. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and working on house projects as well.
Throughout her career, Laura has been dedicated to working with others to build and strengthen communities, with a particular focus on fostering meaningful relationships with donors and giving back. Her journey began early when she volunteered with her mother at a local food pantry, where she gained firsthand experience in helping others and supporting those in need. This early exposure sparked her passion for community service.
As her career developed, Laura worked closely with donors at a museum, helping facilitate the donation of family heirlooms to the museum’s collection. This experience deepened her skills in donor relations and reinforced her commitment to preserving history and culture through community contributions.
With a career centered around connecting with people, Laura has always been driven by a desire to make a positive impact on the community and help others. Her dedication to giving back and creating opportunities for others to contribute is a testament to her ongoing passion for service and connection. “I look forward to being boots on the ground in the work Impacting Tomorrow does. Being able to work in the boutique, hearing our guest stories and the impacting being made are a few of the things I enjoy being a part of.”
When not at work, Laura cherishes the time spent with family and friends. She also loves walking her dog, Fleetie. Laura enjoys hosting sound baths on the side, allowing her to share the calming and restorative power of sound with others.
Kristina utilizes her skills as a good listener and compassionate heart to love and accept others for who they are.
“Impacting Tomorrow gave me purpose. It allows me to express my best assets—loving and helping people. I have a passion to help and make a change no matter what it is and I’m able to spread the word of God through my actions and my words. I love showing people what our mission is, showing the love of Christ and helping everyone who comes in.”
When not serving at Impacting Tomorrow, Kristina enjoys working out and doing activities with her friends. Kristina enjoys reading any book with a good love story. She also enjoys going shopping, home renovations and traveling
Tyler joined the Impacting Tomorrow team in 2023. You will often find Tyler in the warehouse, unloading shipments, restocking product, and making sure that the Market is ready for our guests to shop.
The work that he does has always been about more than just stocking shelves. “I’m passionate about making a difference in people’s lives. Impacting Tomorrow allows me to be a part of building a stronger and better community.”
In his free time, Tyler enjoys coaching middle and high school basketball. He also likes to attend sporting events and spend time with family and friends.
Cayden joined the team at Impacting Tomorrow in 2024. He is an integral part of the behind the scenes operations in the warehouse, market and boutique.
When Cayden joined the team, it was because he was looking for more than just a job. “I am passionate about being a part of Impacting Tomorrow because I enjoy being able to do my part in the community and to help people in need. Impacting Tomorrow allows me to be a part of a team, and allows me to work towards my goals for the future. I love having the opportunity during a market to take guest carts to their cars. I have the chance to really connect with customers and I am even able to pray for them from time to time.”
As a Cybersecurity & Network leader, Daren brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. His track record of designing, implementing, and managing robust security architectures that protect against a wide range of cyber threats, from malware and ransomware to sophisticated cyber-attacks. Beyond his technical prowess, Daren is also skilled in communication and collaboration, able to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams to implement comprehensive security measures that align with business objectives. His ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights makes him an asset to any organization.
Dedicated to giving back to the community, Daren serves as a board member for Impacting Tomorrow, a local initiative committed to addressing food insecurity and providing essential clothing to those in need. His involvement underscores his commitment to social responsibility and community service. Daren also has held numerous civic organization leadership positions to include Milford-Miami Township Chamber of Commerce President, Rotary Club of Batavia, Ohio President, and Cincinnati-Eastside Rotary Club President.
Dave Buffenbarger is a seasoned CFO with a rich tapestry of experience across diverse industries. With a career marked by transformative leadership and a knack for financial acumen, Dave has played a pivotal role in propelling startups to multi-million-dollar success stories.
Driven by a passion for numbers and an unwavering commitment to excellence, Dave embodies the essence of strategic planning and financial stewardship. His journey is a testament to resilience, innovation, and a relentless pursuit of growth. Dave goes beyond the traditional confines of finance, influencing strategic decision-making and shaping organizational direction. His leadership fosters a culture of financial prudence, innovation, and accountability.
At Impacting Tomorrow, Dave takes his financial knowledge and applies it as he works with the team to make every dollar work as hard as possible to achieve the mission.
Outside the office, Dave is a softball coach and fan, works with individuals with special needs, and commits to spending time with his family.
While DJ has held a variety of professional positions, his role for several years as the Head Men’s Basketball coach at Fayetteville-Perry High School gave him a direct role in the community that Impacting Tomorrow serves. Serving at the market became a consistent community service opportunity for his team, as well as collecting clothing donations for the boutique.
DJ’s passion for the community shows in his desire to see people’s basic needs taken care of. “I just seeing people be taken care of and happy. Seeing food go out the door and people receiving clothing and shoes that they can actually wear and be proud to do so. I love being a part of this team any way that I can.”
In his spare time, DJ enjoys playing basketball, spending time with his family, and dabbling in tennis and pickleball.
Michelle is a seasoned category manager with over 20 years experience in the consumer packaged goods industry. She has over 20 years in the non-profit sector with leadership roles that included as a director in community food bank Milford Miami Ministries and the development committee for the Cincinnati FreeStore Food bank. Her dedication and passion for this mission is deeply rooted in stories told by her mother about her experiences with childhood hunger and food insecurities.
Michelle has also served her community for 14 years as a Guardian ad Litem with Casa for Clermont kids which serves abused and neglected children and advocates for them through the court system.
While not advocating for the non-profits she serves, you will find her spending time with her two grandsons or curled up with a good book. Michelle has been married for 39 years and has two daughters.
